Own Your Future

July is UV Safety Awareness Month, and we want to help you soak up the summer sun safely! Just remember:

Slip on a protective shirt, slap on a wide-brimmed hat, slop on broad-spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen, seek shade, especially midday (10 am - 4 pm), and slide on sunglasses to protect your eyes.

Don't forget, sunscreen is important even on cloudy days! For any sunburn concerns, IHNC is here to help. Walk in or visit our website!

By collaborating with healthcare providers, community partners, and educational institutions, the consortium offers paid apprenticeships, focuses on cultural competence, and provides specialized training to equip clinicians to serve the unique needs of rural communities.
