July is UV Safety Awareness Month, and we want to help you soak up the summer sun safely! Just remember:⁠

Slip on a protective shirt, slap on a wide-brimmed hat, slop on broad-spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen, seek shade, especially midday (10 am - 4 pm), and slide on sunglasses to protect your eyes.⁠

Attendees will learn how to reduce suicide risk in Pocatello in simple, practical ways, ensuring that Pocatello and its youths have the best chances of prospering. Invest in Pocatello’s future; we will be part of the solution together.

Harm Reduction / NARCAN Training - 3 CEU/CMEs

Attendees will learn practical strategies for reducing the negative consequences of substance use and how to effectively administer Narcan in overdose situations. By collaborating with healthcare providers, community partners, and educational institutions, the consortium offers paid apprenticeships, focuses on cultural competence, and provides specialized training to equip clinicians to serve the unique needs of rural communities. Through these efforts, the consortium aims to improve access to mental health care and enhance the overall well-being of Central Oregon residents.

IHNC is introducing Immigration Medical Exams starting in August

Idaho Health Neighborhood Center offers green card medical exams, also known as immigration physicals or I-693 medical exams, at our Nampa, ID location. All immigration medical exams are conducted by a civil surgeon, a doctor designated by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to perform immigration physicals and sign the required form. We offer immigration physicals to children older than 6 months and adults of all ages.
